James V. Hansen is Glen Ardis Professor in the Information Systems Group of the
Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University. He received his Ph.D.
from the University of Washington, Seattle. He serves on the editorial boards
of IEEE Intelligent Systems, Information Systems Frontiers, and Intelligent Systems
in Accounting, Finance and Management, and is listed in Who's Who in Science and
Engineering. His research interests are in machine learning and agent-based systems,
with recent publications appearing in Computers and Operations Research, Genetic
Programming and Evolvable Machines, IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks, and
Journal of Experimental and Theoretical Artificial Intelligence.
